Andrea Ward teaches throughout the U.S. and has recently had her work performed as part of a prelude for Alvin Ailey. Andrea has studied with Medhi Walerski, Brian Arias, Cindy Salgado of Kidd Pivot, Winifred Burnet-Smith of Hofesh Shechter Company, Niharika Senepati of Chunky Move, and Joshua Peugh / Dark Circles Dance. Further, Andrea has performed her work in TEDx at the Phillips Center as well as in “Facing the Refugee Crisis” at the Digital Worlds Institute in Florida. Andrea also works with film and has had her underwater dance films screened in New York, Paris, London, and Sweden. Music plays a central role in her work, and she oftentimes creates her own music to choreograph to.
