Kendall Bottjer, Student Choreographer
Kendall Bottjer was born and raised in Dana Point, CA, where she was trained at Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy and the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School. She spent summers training with American Ballet Theatre, LINES Ballet, and Dutch National Ballet. After graduating high school, she attended the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program as a scholarship recipient for her freshman year, and had the opportunity to perform a new work choreographed by Tina Bush. In her time at Barnard College, she has choreographed for CoLab Dance and has danced in new works by Christopher Rudd and Janice Rosario. She also interns with Arts on Site, a women-led non-profit organization dedicated to providing artists with opportunities to create and perform new work. Kendall is a fourth-year student at Barnard College double-majoring in Dance and Anthropology, and currently serves as Co-Outreach Director for Columbia Ballet Collaborative.
