JiaLi Deck is a student at Barnard College studying dance and sociology. She began dancing when she was 3 years old at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis, MO. In her time there, she trained in ballet, horton, contemporary, & jazz and was a member of two pre-professional dance companies. She also attended summer intensives at Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, Ballet West, and Cincinnati Ballet and was selected as an outstanding soloist representing the midwest region at the Regional Dance America 2024 national conference. She is so excited to be a part of the CBC board and continue the work of this incredible organization.
