Sreya Sathish Kumar began ballet in Seattle, Washington, at the age of four. She later continued her journey to the Ellison Ballet Professional Program, where she danced for two years before getting accepted into Columbia University. Throughout her ballet career, Sreya gained many accolades at the Youth America Grand Prix, ADCIBC, and other competitions, including scholarships to American Ballet Theatre, Ballet West, SanFransisco Ballet, Colorado Ballet, and Houston Ballet. She has performed pieces from Swan Lake, Don Quixote, the Nutcracker, La Bayadere, Le Corsaire, and many more. Sreya is a freshman studying neuroscience at Columbia College.
